Greetings From Molloy - Week 20
Friday, January 25, 2008
The holiday weekend has come and gone. Friday Night's Triple-Header against Holy Cross brought victory for the Freshmen and JV Boys teams while the Varsity held on till the last seconds of the game. The Class of 2002 had their fifth year reunion at the school on Saturday night. Forty Stanners along with 8 of their favorite ladies gathered for pizza and beverages in the theater. From all reports, the evening was a great chance to visit classmates and share their stories. The proof is in the pictures. Sunday evening brought together Stanners and others at the Brother Ron Marcellin Scholarship Dinner. Event organizer Lou Santos reported that the evening was a huge success. Trinity's provided excellent food and beverages - and even arranged for a Giant’s victory! See more pictures from the event. Coach Curran has been De-throned! Reliable sources report that Coach Jack Curran is no longer the elder statesman of High School Basketball. He has been replaced by another Stanner, Coach Peter Rampp '44, a graduate of St. Ann's Academy. As with all good stories, this one has a very interesting twist.
