Welcome Stanner Alumni

28th Annual Jim Kinnier Stanner Golf Classic

Reserve your foursome today! Join us for the 28th Annual Jim Kinnier Stanner Golf Classic on Monday, May 5th, 2014. This year's outing will take place at two private courses on Long Island: North Hills Country Club and Plandome Country Club. Accommodations throughout the day include brunch, cigar holes, prize holes, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, auction prizes, raffle prizes, and so much more. Having raised over $2,000,000 in support of Molloy’s scholarship program, the Classic combines the perks of an outstanding alumni event with an amazing philanthropic opportunity. Every dollar helps give deserving students in need the gift of education at Molloy, which has been a tradition our alumni have stood by since the days of St. Ann’s Academy.

Whether you love to golf or only consider yourself a novice, the Classic is the perfect place for all types of players to unite for a good cause. Tell a friend, encourage an employer to establish a sponsorship, or make a donation in support of the Jim Kinnier Stanner Golf Classic. Whichever way you choose to support the Classic, please remember that your participation truly makes a difference in the lives of young men and women.

For information on any of these items, please contact Alumni Relations Director Maria Ford at (718) 943-3186 or email Your support is appreciated by all of us at Molloy. We look forward to seeing you out on the greens in 2014!

This spring, the Stanner Players present You Can't Take It With You, written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. A Pulitzer Prize for Drama winner, the 3 Act comedy is set in 1930’s New York City. The Sycamore family can only be described as eccentric, building fireworks in the basement, taking ballet lessons in the living room, and housing a wide assortment of houseguests on a daily basis. One Sycamore in particular will fall in love with her boss’s son, but when she invites her future in-laws over to her parents’ house for dinner, chaos (and hilarity) ensues! Tickets can be reserved in advance by emailing or calling (347) 441-0015. When calling, please leave a voicemail with your name, the date of the show, and the number of tickets you are requesting. Come out and support our talented and hardworking Stanner Players this April!
